Emergency Hero

Emergency Hero sends engineers to urgent plumbing, heating, gas, drainage and electrical problems, with a customer service team based in a Manchester office. It reports more than 1,200 engineers across the UK, and electrical callouts run 24 hours a day, every day of the year, for faults from flickering lights to a full power loss. Jobs can be booked by phone or through a mobile app. Engineers are described as usually arriving the same day. Prices in the app include the first hour and the call out, and the business describes its pricing as transparent. It also offers a HeroCare plan and invites new engineers to join its network.
